Sciatica

Sciatica is pain caused by the compression of a spinal nerve in the back. This pain can affect the lower back, the hips, and legs if left untreated.

Sciatica relief can be achieved by performing strength and flexibility exercises under the supervision of a physical therapist. Many strengthening exercises focus not only on the muscles of the lower back but also on core stabilization to prevent future recurrences of sciatic pain.

Our physical therapists create individualized treatment programs for patients experiencing sciatica. Call us today for a free 15 minute consultation to see if physical therapy is the right treatment option for you!

PATIENT TESTIMONIALS

"This has been the first time going to physical therapy and has been a great experience. I came with problems with the sciatica. I was having pain on my left side when walking, bending, and even when sleeping. Coming here was the best, they have a very professional team and they helped me a lot. Today I am leaving with no pain and exercises to continue doing at home and keep strengthening my back and keep doing well. They were very nice ith me and my 4 year old who accompanied to therapy. They are great. Thank you!" -Lorena Ortiz

"After 6 months of sciatic pain, I started PT here. After one week of PT, I had significant pain reduction. After 2 weeks my sciatic issues went away. Thanks everyone!" -Curt Crum

"When I first started PT here, I was having a lot of sciatic pain. My time spent here has helped strengthen my core and low back. It has also encouraged incorporating an exercise routine (which I haven't done in a very long time!). The staff here are amazing! I have been scheduled with just about all the PT's and assistants and they have been so helpful! I appreciate all they have done helping in my healing process." -Leslie Ernst
