Duration of Therapy: How
long does therapy last?
Although the duration for treatment is variable for each patient, our therapists closely monitor each patient’s progress to ensure that they receive the right amount of therapy needed.
There are two main criteria for stopping treatment:
• The patient’s goals are accomplished.
• The patient stops making progress towards their goals. Approximately 75% of our patients accomplish their goals in 8-20 visits.
Each treatment takes 45-75 minutes. If multiple areas are being addressed (e.g. neck and back), treatment times may be longer.
If the patient is not making progress in therapy, this is quickly identified by the therapist and are referred to the appropriate medical practitioner.
